OTTAWA, March 13 (Reuters) - Biovail Corp (BVF.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) (BVF.N: Quote, Profile, Research), Canada's biggest drug maker, said it sees "incredible growth" in the next few years after it completes a big transition in 2008.

"Beyond 2008, in the next two, three, four years, (we) see incredible growth," Chief Executive Doug Squires said in an interview with Reuters. "We're approaching the point where the old Biovail is turning into the new Biovail."

The company -- which announced a review of its drug development pipeline, strategy and acquisition targets on Thursday -- is grappling with generic competition for its key Wellbutrin XL antidepressant treatment. (Reporting by Susan Taylor; Editing by Peter Galloway)
