Xcel Minn. Prairie 1 reactor starts to exit refuel
NEW YORK, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Xcel Energy Inc's (XEL.N: Quote, Profile, Research) 551-megawatt Unit 1 at the Prairie Island nuclear power station in Minnesota started to exit a refueling outage and ramped up to 6 percent power by early Monday, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission said in a report.
The unit shut on Sept. 11.
It last shut for refueling from about Feb. 13-March 24, 2008. It is on an 18-month refueling cycle.
