CANADA STOCKS-Oils, banks extend TSX rally
TORONTO, May 28 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index shot up 2 percent on Thursday afternoon, as energy shares climbed with higher oil prices and financial issues gained as quarterly earnings from big banks topped expectations.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 202.36 points, or 2.0 percent, at 10,344.52. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
