RPT-GE taps Beth Comstock as chief marketing officer

NEW YORK, March 3 (Reuters) - Conglomerate General Electric Co (GE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it named Beth Comstock senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Comstock, 47, will lead GE's organic growth initiatives and will report to Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Immelt.

The company also said it tapped Dan Henson, GE's current chief marketing officer, as president and chief executive of the company's capital solutions unit.
