Texmaco in talks with global cos for metro coach JV

MUMBAI, July 3 (Reuters) - Rail wagon maker Texmaco Ltd (TEXM.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) is in talks with global players for a joint venture to make metro coaches, train cars and locomotive components, a senior official told Reuters on Friday. "We are looking at joint ventures... to make metro coaches, EMUs, loco components for which we are tying up with world leaders," AK Vijay, senior vice president, said over the telephone, without divulging any financial details.
