India Hot Stocks:Ranbaxy, Strides jump on govt Tamiflu order

MUMBAI, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The following stocks were on the move at the BSE on Wednesday.

At 10:16 a.m., the benchmark 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 0.12 percent at 15,569.13 points.

The 50-share National Stock Exchange Index .NSEI was up 0.13 percent at 4,631.45 points.

* Drugmakers Ranbaxy Laboratories (RANB.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Strides Arcolab (STAR.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) rose more than 2 percent after they got government orders to supply the generic version of Roche's (ROG.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) anti-viral, Tamiflu, used to treat the H1N1 flu. Strides bagged the biggest order to supply 7.4 million capsules, Economic Times reported on Wednesday, and Ranbaxy got an order for 900,000 capsules.
