India food inflation to moderate by yr end-official
NEW DELHI, Nov 4 (Reuters) - India's high food price inflation is a concern but it should moderate by the end of this year, the deputy chairman of Planning Commission said on Wednesday.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia also said financial reforms should continue.
India's wholesale price index rose 1.51 percent in the 12 months to Oct. 17 but food price index was up 12.85 percent, latest data showed. (Reporting by Tony Munroe and Rajesh Kumar Singh)
