India's JMM to support govt in confidence vote-report
NEW DELHI, July 18 (Reuters) - The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which has five MPs in parliament, will support the government in next week's confidence vote, the Press Trust of India news agency reported on its website on Friday, quoting the party's chief whip, Teklal Mahto.
Ahead of Tuesday's vote, the Congress party-led ruling coalition and opposition parties are desperately tying up support, with analysts saying the outcome was too close to call. (Writing by Surojit Gupta; Editing by Mark Williams)
