India cbank loans to govt nil for wk ended May 2
MUMBAI, May 9 (Reuters) - Short-term borrowings by the Indian federal government from the central bank were nil for the week ended May 2, the central bank said in its weekly statistical supplement on Friday.
There were no loans outstanding a week earlier.
State government borrowings from the central bank were 720 million rupees on May 2. The outstandings a week earlier were 4.71 billion rupees. (Reporting by Mumbai Treasury Desk; Editing by xxxxx)
