D-Link to spin off, list part of marketing business

MUMBAI, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Communications equipment maker D-Link India Ltd DLIN.BO said its board has approved demerging part of the marketing business to Smartlink Network Systems Ltd.

Each shareholder of D-Link will receive one share of Smartlink for each share held, it said on Monday in a notice to the stock exchange.

Smartlink will be listed on the BSE and NSE, it added. (Reporting by Jasudha Kirpalani, Editing by Sunil Nair)
