Indian shares fall more than 2 pct early
MUMBAI, July 3 (Reuters) - Indian shares fell more than 2 percent early on Thursday, led by ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Housing Development Finance Corp (HDFC.BO: Quote, Profile, Research).
By 9:57 a.m. (0427 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 2.1 percent, or 284.26 points, at 13,380.36, after having opened 1.5 percent lower.
The 50-issue NSE index .NSEI fell 1.8 percent to 4,020.80. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram)
