SpiceJet to lease two planes to Air India
MUMBAI, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Budget airline SpiceJet Ltd (SPJT.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it had agreed to lease two aircraft to state-run Air India [AI.UL].
SpiceJet would lease two Boeing 737-800 planes along with pilot and crew to Air India to carry Haj Pilgrims between several cities in India and Jeddah, it said in a statement.
Under the agreement with Air India, it will operate 120 flights and carry 20,000 passengers, it said.
