* Binani Zinc, the country's second largest zinc producer, is planning to treble its capacity in order to capitalise on the rising demand for the metal from the infrastructure sector .

* Cotton exports fell 64 percent in June to 92,071 bales of 170 kg each, according to data released by the Textile's Commissioner's offcie in Mumbai.
