Cadila gets US OK for cholesterol lowering pravastatin
MUMBAI, May 7 (Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Cadila Healthcare Ltd's (CADI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) cholesterol-fighter pravastatin sodium tablets in various strengths, the regulator's Web site showed on Wednesday.
The U.S. agency also tentatively approved the Indian drug maker's losartan potassium-hydrochlorothiazide tablets used to lower high blood pressure. (Reporting by Bharghavi Nagaraju; Editing by Ramya Venugopal)
