Indian rupee little changed ahead of econ survey
MUMBAI, July 2 (Reuters) - The Indian rupee was little changed ahead of the government's Economic Survey on Thursday, which that could be an indicator for policies included in the federal budget on Monday.
* At 11:11 a.m., the partially convertible rupee INR=IN was at 47.78/79 per dollar, off an early peak of 47.74, its highest since June 16, and slightly stronger than Wednesday's close of 47.88/90. It has traded in the 47.74-47.8250 range. * The Economic Survey will be released at 12 noon (0630 GMT).
Traders said they would also look for cues on more reform measures in Monday's budget, which could lead to capital inflows. (Reporting by Anurag Joshi; Editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
