Aurobindo Pharma gets Canada nod for terbinafine
MUMBAI, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Drug maker Aurobindo Pharma Ltd (ARBN.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Wednesday it received the Canadian regulatory approval to sell terbinafine hydrochloride tablets in multiple strengths.
The drug is the generic equivalent of Novartis' (NOVN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) Lamisil indicated for the treatment of fungal infections in the skin and nails, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Bharghavi Nagaraju; Editing by Prem Udayabhanu)
