Indian shares provisionally rise 1.75 percent
MUMBAI, July 3 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 1.75 percent on Friday on late short covering ahead of the federal budget on Monday.
The 30-share BSE index .BSESN provisionally ended up 257.12 points at 14,915.61, with 23 stocks advancing.
The 50-share NSE index .NSEI provisionally closed up 1.7 percent at 4,422.75 points. (Reporting by Prashant Mehra)
