MUMBAI, July 24 (Reuters) - Jewellery maker Gitanjali Gems Ltd (GTGM.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday its unit, Gitanjali Lifestyle Ltd, has acquired B Vijay Retail Ventures Pvt Ltd.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

B Vijay, which owns the 'HooP' brand, retails gold, silver and other precious metals and diamond jewellery. (Reporting by Bharghavi Nagaraju; Editing by Harish Nambiar)
