India asks oil firms to cut base jet fuel prices
NEW DELHI, June 11 (Reuters) - India has asked oil companies to consider a cut in base jet fuel prices to bring immediate relief to aviation firms reeling under losses, the civil aviation minister said on Wednesday.
"We've asked the oil companies to consider a reduction in the base price of ATF," Praful Patel told reporters after meeting the prime minister to discuss the aviation sector. (Reporting by C.J. Kuncheria)
