Death toll in Indian temple stampede rises to 75
JODHPUR, India, Sept 30 (Reuters) - At least 75 people died and another 150 were injured after a stampede at a Hindu temple in the western state of Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.
"The toll will rise, we are receiving news of more serious injuries," a police officer said in the main control room in the state capital Jaipur. (Reporting by Bappa Majumdar; Editing by Simon Denyer)
