Vietnam cuts 95-octane petrol price by 4 pct
HANOI, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Vietnam slashed its retail price for 95-octane petrol by 4 percent to 18,500 dong ($1.12) per litre on Thursday following lower world oil prices, top retailer Petrolimex said.
Prices for 95-octane petrol have been cut from 19,300 dong, while the price of 92-octane petrol was reduced 5.3 percent to 18,000 dong, according to a Petrolimex price list in effect from 0300 GMT on Thursday.
Petrolimex, also the country's top oil product importer, kept the retail price for 0.05 percent sulfur diesel unchanged at 15,950 dong per litre. (Reporting by Nguyen Nhat Lam; Editing by Kim Coghill)
