Dec 1 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan reported until 0940 GMT on Monday:

*HELMAND - A suicide bomb attack killed eight civilians and two police in Musa Qala bazaar of southern Helmand province on Monday, police said. At least 25 people, two of them policemen, were wounded in the attack.
GHAZNI - Gunmen on a motorbike shot dead a district chief in Ghazni town on Monday, a provincial spokesman said. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
BAGHLAN - Two suspected Taliban insurgents were killed on Monday while planting a roadside bomb in northern Baghlan province, a provincial official said.
