Honda Siel Sept car sales fall 5 pct yr/yr

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Honda Siel Cars, the Indian unit of Japan's Honda Motor Co, said on Monday car sales in September fell 5.3 percent from the same month a year ago. Honda sold 5,674 units in September, down from 5,993 in the same month of 2006, the company said in a statement.

The company sold 3,635 City ZXs, 1,392 Civics and 245 Accords in the saloon category. It sold 402 CR-V sport utility vehicles.
