MphasiS opens call centre for Idea Cellular
MUMBAI (Reuters) - Software and back-office services firm MphasiS Ltd said on Friday it had opened a business process outsourcing (BPO) facility that would do work exclusively for mobile firm Idea Cellular.
MphasiS, majority owned by U.S. computer services firm Electronic Data Systems, said in a statement it was planning to increase employees at the centre at Indore in Madhya Pradesh to 1,500 from 750 in the next year.
In August, MphasiS said it had set up a similar facility for leading mobile firm Bharti Airtel in a southern Indian city.
