India, Malaysia to start talks on economic pact
NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Trade Minister Kamal Nath said on Monday New Delhi would start negotiations with Malaysia in January 2008 for a comprehensive economic co-operation agreement.
"I am confident that this agreement would take our bilateral relations to newer heights and would contribute to the growth of economies," Nath told a business conference.
The two countries aim to increase two-way trade to $16 billion by 2012 from $6.6 billion now.
