Earthquake of 6.4 magnitude shakes southern Iran - IRNA
TEHRAN (Reuters) - A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on Friday, an official Iranian news agency reported but there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
IRNA news agency said Friday's quake occurred at 0035 GMT near the island of Hendourabi in the southern province of Hormozgan. Iran is one of the most earthquake-prone countries in the world.
