HEMA AS RAJMATA - Actress Hema Malini is set to play Vijayaraje Scindia in “Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi,” a film based on the late Rajmata of Gwalior, the Mumbai Mirror reported.

Scindia, the mother of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, had been an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

AKSHAY IN JUMBO - Actor Akshay Kumar and mom-in-law Dimple Kapadia are working on an animation film about a baby elephant, the Indian Express reported.

The film “Jumbo” has Kumar narrating sequences as well as giving voice to the main character, the paper said.

SONAM TO PLAY EMMA - Actress Sonam Kapoor has been roped in for dad Anil Kapoor’s film based on Jane Austen’s novel “Emma”, the Mail Today reported.  Continued...
