BSE Sensex opens 0.8 pct higher
MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex opened 0.77 percent higher on Wednesday, on positive cues from global markets and supported by improved foreign appetite for risk.
At 9:56 a.m., the 30-share BSE index was up 0.93 percent, or 96.27 points, at 10,432.30, with 28 of its components gaining.
The 50-share NSE index was up 0.96 percent at 3,142.65.
