MEGAWATI-PRABOWO TEAM WARN OF FRAUD WORRIES

* Hashim Djojohadikusumo, an adviser to the Megawati-Prabowo team, said that the campaign team had asked for clarification over why the General Election Commission (KPU) had shut 69,000 polling stations despite an increase in the number of voters on the electoral roll.

The adviser also said the campaign had still not yet received the final electoral roll just days ahead of the July 8 election. He also alleged that 2.2 million fictious names had been found on the electoral list in five counties in East Java.

"We think there is a serious possibility of fraud, voter fraud and widespread cheating if not handled properly by the authorities," Djojohadikusumo, who is the brother of Prabowo, told a lunch with foreign correspondents.
