MUMBAI (Reuters) - The makers of "Kambakkht Ishq", a new Bollywood film with Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards in cameo roles, hope to woo Indian audiences with a dash of Hollywood glamour.

The film, a romantic comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, was shot in Los Angeles.

"We want those who don't always go the cinemas to come and watch it and the presence of such big names such as Stallone and Richards will definitely be a big draw," producer Sajid Nadiadwala told Reuters.

"Kambakkht Ishq", made at a budget of over 650 million rupees, features Kumar as a stuntman working in Hollywood.

Stallone and Richards play themselves in the film, which also has guest appearances by "Superman" star Brandon Routh and Australian actress Holly Valance.

"The backdrop of the film is that of Hollywood, so these stars only lend to the storyline," Nadiadwala said.

"Kambakkht Ishq" was released worldwide on Friday.
