(Reuters) - Factbox on Switzerland's Roger Federer, who won a record 15th grand slam title after winning Wimbledon with a 5-7 7-6(6) 7-6(5) 3-6 16-14 defeat of American sixth seed Andy Roddick on Sunday.

MAKING HIS NAME

* Born Aug. 8, 1981 in Basel, Switzerland.

* Bursts on to the scene in 2001 when he ends Pete Sampras's 31-match winning streak at Wimbledon in the fourth round before losing in the quarter-finals.

RECORD 15 GRAND SLAM TITLES
