NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's hockey players will resume training for next month's World Cup after resolving a pay dispute with the national body, Hockey India (HI) said on Saturday.
On Friday captain Rajpal Singh announced an indefinite boycott of a training camp by the players over non-payment of match fees.
"The issue has been resolved. We, both the parties, have decided to move forward because right now World Cup is our first priority," Hockey India president Ashok Mattoo told reporters after a meeting with the senior players.
New Delhi will stage the World Cup from Feb. 28 to March 13.
"We are going in for practice tomorrow. Whatever the problem was, has been solved," Rajpal said.
