Gold pares gains after Libya declares ceasefire

LONDON (Reuters) - Gold pared gains to $1,414.45 an ounce after Libya on Friday declared a ceasefire to comply with a United Nations resolution passed overnight.

Gold was at $1,417.60 an ounce at 1251 GMT after a session high of $1,423.70 following $1,402.4 late in New York on Thursday.
