Greece's Opap, Intralot eye Turkish lottery -report

ATHENS, July 23 (Reuters) - Greece's largest gaming companies Opap (OPAr.AT: Quote, Profile, Research) and Intralot (INLr.AT: Quote, Profile, Research) will make bids in a tender for Turkey's national lottery Milli Piyango with local partners, Greek paper Imerisia reported on Wednesday.

Opap and Intralot are in talks with Turkey's Koc Holding (KCHOL.IS: Quote, Profile, Research) and Cukurova Group, respectively, to form separate joint ventures to bid for a licence with Milli Piyango, Imerisia said, citing Turkish media reports.

The winners will be granted a 10-year licence, which will grant them 17 percent of gaming revenue, with 3 percent going to Milli Piyangi, the report said. The terms of the tender are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Opap and Intralot officials were not immediately available for comment.

Last month, Opap chief executive Christos Hadjiemmanuil said the company was interested in the privatisation of Turkey's national lottery. (Reporting by George Hatzidakis, editing by Will Waterman)
