Eurasian Dev Bank opens credit line for SuperJet
ALMATY, July 24 (Reuters) - Eurasian Development Bank, set up to finance infrastructure projects in Russia and Kazakhstan, will open a 10-year credit line of $100 million to help finance Russia's SuperJet 100 project, the bank said on Thursday.
SuperJet is Russia's first passenger plane since the fall of the Soviet Union. Russian planemaker Sukhoi is developing it in partnership with Italy's Alenia Aeronautica (SIFI.MI: Quote, Profile, Research).
Almaty-based Eurasian Development Bank was set up by Russia and Kazakhstan in 2006 and has a capitalisation of $1.4 billion.
