June 26 (Reuters) - Factbox on Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo who completed his 80 million-pound ($130 million) transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid on Friday. Ronaldo has signed a six-year contract with Madrid which will take effect on July 1, 2009.

MANCHESTER UNITED CAREER

* United manager Alex Ferguson signs the largely unknown 18-year-old for 12.24 million pounds ($20.08 million) in August 2003 after an outstanding performance against United in a pre-season friendly in Lisbon.

* Named Manchester United's 2003-04 Player of the Year in his debut season, picking up an FA Cup winners medal.

* In 2006-07 Manchester United win the title and Ronaldo is named Portugal's Footballer of the Year and England's Footballer of the Year. Is runner-up to Kaka in the European Footballer of the Year poll and third in FIFA World Player of the Year.

* Celebrates League and Champions League double in the 2007-08 season, finishing as Europe's top goal scorer with 42 goals and winning several domestic awards including England's player of the season.

* Caps 2008 season by being voted World Footballer of the Year having already become just the third Portuguese to win Europe's Ballon d'Or award following Eusebio in 1965 and Luis Figo in 2000.

* In 2008-09 helps United to the Premier League title, League Cup, Club World Cup and Champions League final, which they lose 2-0 to Barcelona.  Continued...
