UPDATE 1-Bangladesh again tenders to import 100,000 T wheat

HAMBURG, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Bangladesh has issued a further international tender to import 100,000 tonnes of wheat, European traders said on Wednesday.
The tender, issued by the Food and Disaster Management Ministry, will close on Oct 10.
The ministry on Aug 12 issued a separate tender for 100,000 tonnes of wheat which closes on Sep 23.
The new tender calls for shipment within 30 days after contract signing. Any origin worldwide will be accepted.
The government has said it plans to import some 800,000 tonnes of wheat in the current 2008-09 (July-June) financial year to expand emergency wheat stocks to 2.0 million tonnes from the current level of 1.2 million tonnes.
On Aug 7, the ministry awarded Bangladeshi trading company Robiul Islam the order in a previous tender for 100,000 tonnes of wheat at a price of $397 per tonne c&f.
