BRIEF-Italy's antitrust extends probe on Intesa share pact

MILAN, July 3 (Reuter) - Italy's antitrust authority issued a statement on Friday on its website:

* Says to probe June 25 pact between Credit Agricole (CAGR.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) and Assicurazioni Generali SpA (GASI.MI: Quote, Profile, Research) on their stakes in Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP.MI: Quote, Profile, Research)
