Dollar falls versus yen after U.S jobs data

NEW YORK, July 2 (Reuters) - The dollar erased gains and fell versus the yen on Thursday after a report showed a larger-than-expected drop in U.S. nonfarm payrolls in June. For more details, click [ID:nN01210643]

The dollar was last slightly lower on the day at 96.54 yen JPY=EBS, compared with 96.75 yen prior to the data.

The euro was last down 0.7 percent on the day at $1.4053 EUR=, little changed from $1.4050 before the report after brief volatility. (Reporting by Vivianne Rodrigues; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
