MEXICO CITY, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Fitch Ratings cut its credit rating outlook on Monday for eight Mexican financial institutions to "negative" from "stable" following the agency's move to lower its outlook on the country's sovereign rating.

Fitch said banks BBVA Bancomer, Banamex, Banco Santander Mexico and HSBC Mexico, as well as three government-owned development banks and the national deposit-insurance entity were all revised lower.

The four banks are all subsidiaries of foreign banks. (Reporting by Jason Lange; Editing by James Dalgleish)
