China Development Bank says NPL ratio rose slightly
BEIJING, July 23 (Reuters) - The non-performing loan ratio at China Development Bank, a state lender that owns 3 percent of Barclays (BARC.L: Quote, Profile, Research), rose slightly to 0.95 percent at the end of June, the official Xinhua news agency reported late on Tuesday.
The bank's NPL ratio was 0.68 percent a year ago.
Xinhua said disruptions from the earthquake in Sichuan were a contributing factor causing a rebound in the bank's non-performing loan ratio. (Reporting by Zhou Xin; editing by Ken Wills)
