Cricket-Pakistan win toss and field against Sri Lanka

GALLE, Sri Lanka, July 4 (Reuters) - Pakistan won the toss and chose to field in the first test against Sri Lanka at Galle on Saturday.

Pakistan gave a debut to 17-year-old left-armer Mohammad Aamer, fast bowler Abdur Rauf and off spinner Saeed Ajmal.

Middle order batsman Mohammad Yousuf returns after being banned for playing in the unsanctioned Indian Cricket League.

Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath replaced spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who pulled out of the game with a knee injury, while all rounder Angelo Mathews will make his test debut for Sri Lanka.
