Mitsui Chem, Idemitsu to announce Vietnam project

TOKYO, March 27 (Reuters) - Japan's Mitsui Chemicals Inc (4183.T: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it and oil refiner Idemitsu Kosan Co (5019.T: Quote, Profile, Research) would hold a joint briefing on the construction of the Nghi Son refining and petrochemical complex in Vietnam at 5:30 p.m. (0830 GMT).

Reuters reported on Wednesday that Idemitsu and another Japanese company will take a 40 percent stake in the $6 billion joint venture to build the refinery. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori)
