MUMBAI, May 13 (Reuters) - The Indian rupee <INR=IN> was mostly steady near one-year lows in afternoon trade on Tuesday, as fresh dollar supplies were offset by oil companies buying the U.S. currency.

* At 3:10 p.m., the partially convertible rupee was at 42.09/10 per dollar, off an intraday low of 42.2175, the lowest since April, 2007. It ended at 42.05/06 on Monday.

* Oil CLc1, India's biggest import, traded close to $124 a barrel, more than two dollars lower than a record high $126.40 on Monday.

* Industrial output grew 3.0 percent in March from a year earlier, its weakest growth in six years as high interest rates squeezed demand for consumer goods.[ID:nBOM216199] (Reporting by Swati Bhat; Editing by Sunil Nair)
