Indian govt had no outstanding loans with cbank as on Feb 28-cbank

MUMBAI, March 7 (Reuters) - The Indian government did not have any outstanding loans with the central bank as on Feb. 28, the Reserve Bank of India said in its weekly statistical supplement on Friday.

It also did not have any outstanding loans in the previous week.

State governments had loans worth 3.14 billion rupees ($51.4 million) outstanding with the central bank in the week to Feb. 28, compared with 4.52 billion rupees in the week earlier. ($1 = 61.07 Indian rupees) (Reporting by Suvashree Dey Choudhury; Editing by Sunil Nair)
