India cbank seen selling dollars to prevent rupee slide to 60/dollar

MUMBAI, June 20 (Reuters) - India’s central bank was again seen stepping in to support the rupee from breaching the 60 to a dollar mark, selling dollars via state-run banks, three dealers said.

The suspected intervention pulled back the rupee from its day’s low of 59.9850. It was trading at 59.78/80 versus Wednesday’s close of 58.71/72. (Reporting by Subhadip Sircar; Editing by Subhranshu Sahu)
