Indian shares provisionally close 2.25 pct up
MUMBAI, May 15 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 2.25 percent on Thursday, led by gains in Reliance Industries Ltd (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd (LART.BO: Quote, Profile, Research).
The 30-share BSE index provisionally closed 381.36 points higher at 17,359.71, with 24 components rising.
The 50-issue NSE index provisionally rose 2.05 percent to 5,114.35. (Reporting by Hiral Vora; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
