Indian shares rise more than 1 pct early
NEW DELHI, July 7 (Reuters) - India's main stock index rose more than 1 percent early on Monday, led by gains in Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO: Quote, Profile, Research).
At 9:56 a.m. (0426 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was up 1.35 percent, or 181.27 points, at 13,635.27, with all but four stocks gaining.
The 50-share NSE index was up 1.54 percent at 4,077.90. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
