Indian shares provisionally end 0.4 pct up
NEW DELHI, July 7 (Reuters) - India's main stock index provisionally rose 0.36 percent on Monday, led by with Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and State Bank of India (SBI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), but there was little conviction in the recovery.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally closed up 48.99 points at 13,502.99, with 21 stocks gaining, after rising as high as 13,793.39 during trade.
The 50-share NSE index provisionally gained 0.22 percent to 4,025. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
