Indian shares provisionally close 3.9 pct higher

MUMBAI, July 18 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 3.92 percent on Friday, led by gains in ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) and Reliance Industries (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research).

The 30-share BSE index provisionally closed 513.36 points higher at 13,625.21.

The 50-issue NSE index provisionally rose 3.3 percent to 4,078.85 points. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram)
